denysverich.com
- World 1000 × 1000 blocks, already generated, so exploring doesn't lag
- Graves when you die, your items and XP wait in a grave that never despawns
- Mods optional: plain Minecraft works, the modpack adds a map and more
Joining
- Start Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 (plain, or the modpack below).
- Go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter
denysverich.comas the address. With the modpack, the server is already in the list. - Join. The first time, pick a password for your name and type it twice:
Every time after that, log in with:/register <password> <password>
The password keeps anyone else from playing under your name. Use one you don't use anywhere else./login <password>
Useful commands
/sethome, /home | Save a spot, and teleport back to it |
/tpa <player> | Ask to teleport to someone; they answer with /tpaccept or /tpdeny |
/tpahere <player> | Ask someone to teleport to you |
/back | Go back to where you were before a teleport, or where you died |
/grave list | Where your graves are |
/msg <player> <text>, /r | Private message, and reply |
/changepassword <old> <new> | Change your login password |
Only you can open your own grave. The world ends at a border 500 blocks from the middle; the Nether's border is 500 blocks out too, and the End's 1500, so its outer islands with End cities are in.
The modpack
Optional mods that only run on your computer: a minimap and world map, better performance, a far render distance, and some quality-of-life extras. Nobody else needs them for you to use them.
Installing
- Install the free Modrinth App. (Prism Launcher works too: Add Instance → Import.)
- Open the downloaded
.mrpackfile with it: double-click it, or in the app click + → Import and pick the file. The app installs Fabric and every mod on its own. - Give it more memory: the instance's Settings → Java and memory, 4 to 6 GB. The far render distance needs it.
- Press Play, then pick denysverich.com under Multiplayer.
When there's a new version of the modpack, download it again and import it the same way.
Using it
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| M | The world map (Xaero's World Map): everywhere you've been |
| B | A new waypoint where you stand; U lists them |
| Y | Minimap settings: size, position, cave mode |
| C | Zoom, while held; scroll to zoom further (Zoomify) |
| O | Shader packs (Iris); K turns them on and off |
Change a key under Options → Controls → Key Binds; the search box there finds any of them. Every mod's own settings are under Mods on the title screen.
The far render distance
Distant Horizons draws simplified terrain far beyond your normal view distance. The server can't send it terrain it hasn't shown you, so it builds what it draws from the places you've been, and remembers them. The more you explore, the more you see from far away. Its settings are under Options → Video Settings, behind the Distant Horizons button.
